Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance is a spectroscopic technique used to get relevant structural and stereochemical information of molecules, in a short time scale. It is a non-destructive technique and it has broad applications in all areas of Chemistry and some important areas within Biology. The NMR facilities is constituted by equipment belonging to the Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas (IIQ), and it is its aim to be an open facility to satisfy the high demand both, from IIQ users, and those from outside.

A Supervising Committee, and a Technical-Scientific Committee, rule the NMR facility, and it has a specialist technician in charge of the maintenance (José Tomás Morales Galán).
